Divakar R Mysore is a highly experienced Chief Architect with over 25 years of relevant experience in the field. He is a global subject matter expert and thought leader in application transformation to cloud, with a focus on application modernisation using new ways of working, DevSecOps, operations automation, and site reliability practices. Divakar has led several first-of-its-kind client engagements with top Fortune 500 companies, transforming the ways of working and engineering approach to build, modernise, and manage custom hybrid cloud applications. He has established a robust engineering and operations platform for one of the largest banks, taking a holistic view of bringing fundamental shifts with DevSecOps, operations automation, and a site reliability engineering approach. This has contributed to a stable and reliable platform with a reduction of unplanned downtime, speed of completing RCAs, and reduced deployment time and post-deployment errors. As the Chief Architect for Application Modernization offering, Divakar has led the creation of unified service, technical, and delivery models, contributing to double-digit App mod revenue improvement. He has also led several client presentations and go-to-market enablement. Additionally, as the Chief Architect for the modernization method, he has led the unified modernization method, best practices, technical papers, and dynamic/remote delivery practices, which contributed to a double-digit increase in method adaption and reduction in trouble projects. Divakar has also led the development of differentiated tools (with IBM Research), resulting in 20% to 60% efficiency in identifying containerization candidates, defining candidate microservices, deriving insights on app dependency/planning, containerizing applications, and developer productivity. He has led the development of the Consulting DevSecOps platform, which is used by 80+ clients. Divakar has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore University and has completed an Executive General Management Program from IIM. He has also completed his Pre-University education from National College and Class 10 from Vijaya High School.
